I have a question about spaced coils. Do I need to pulse a new spaced coil to see if it glows evenly? Hello ECFers! My wife has been having quite a tough time finding a good stick style vape.
She loved the Aspire Pockex. But when the included coil burned out, the replacement heads were all faulty. they would not wick and just kept giving dry hits. dozens of faulty coils later, we gave up on the device altogether. sad too because the included coil was great.

so i bought her the Joyetech Exceed D19. same problem. coil heads wont wick properly.
we switched her from 65VG juice to 65PG juice....

I admit I'm nervous. I smoke A LOT on trips and where I'm going that is just what we do. Hang out on the porch, listen to music, lots of smoking. I'll be driving there and back and driving I usually chain smoke. I actually hit my daughters cigarette the other day and found it very unsatisfying so I hope if I reach for one and start smoking it I have the same dissatisfaction and just put it right out. I am loaded up on batteries, extra coils, a variety of juices so no excuses.

Hi my name is mike I came here to get an answer on why my smok coils wont register as new on my mag and all other coils including rda work fine. When I screw in a new smok coil it goes to the last resistance that was on the mod. I have to screw on and unscrew a hundred times before it works playing with it and with many different types of smok coils. any idea's? Hello,
So it's been 3 months since I switched from cigs to vaping,
And in the last 2-3 weeks I'm getting this all-day foggy tired head feeling.
The things that changed the last month were me switching from 12mg nic N.E.T on nautilus to a 6mg-9mg different juices on a MTL RTA...
All my juices are 50/50 (except 1 70/30 which I seldom use)
I'm hydrated, sleeping well, it starts the moment I wake up and open my eyes...
No sore throat, runny nose, coughs, chest pain or other symptoms people are...

I topped up my 4ml tank with a different mint choc ice cream that was previously my fave, and all I could taste was mushy green peas

Emptied tank, cleaned it and filled up with the van ice cream flavour I had been using - still could taste peas. Vaped it thru, got a head rush from nicotine, still had aftertaste so I changed the coil. All good after that!

Currently using a Sigelei 150 oni edition with a uwell crown tank. Also a reuleaux rx300 with a cloud beast tank. Tfv8 coils. I go back and forth between the 2. I like both, the crown tank doesn't have a lot of air flow, I prefer more. But enjoy both tanks. Need a recommendation for a new tank. I'm a relatively high load vaper - 0.17 ohms, 200 watts, juggernaut coils.
The ijoy batteries that came with the captain pd270 are starting to lose battery life now, so it's time to move on. What would be the best 20700's out there for this kind of daily hammering?

I'm not writing this because I don't understand what happened, I'm just hoping someone doesn't learn the same lesson I did but with a worse outcome.

I picked up my first mech mod last weekend. I'm very meticulous when it comes to calculating the resistance of my coils, building them, and checking amp draw. I'm aware of battery safety guidelines and I follow them pretty closely.

Things fall into drip tip,they are on the heavy side and use lots of juice.
I like using them at home but on the go I want to try a Pod system.

So what does everyone use while driving / in their cars?
I don't drive (at the moment anyway) so my partner drives for the most part. I use a VTR with a subtank nano (1.4 coil) so I don't over fog the car. On occasion I swap the subtank out for the Iclear 30S and MTL for a bit
My Partner uses an istick 30 with a protank 2 for the same reason, although we both mostly use drippers / sub-ohm devices at home.

So, I was making a coil. Cut off a workable length of Kanthal, and was securing the end of the spool. This was the moment the cat decided to take a little stroll across my lap and the workspace. I'm currently using 2 x Samsung 25R batteries (purchased same time and married) in my T-Priv. I was vaping away without charging them when I got a low battery warning. Hey everyone. I've been gone from the forum for years and had to create a new account as I no longer remember the info from my prior one.

I've been vaping since 2009: back in the days before VV/VW mods and the original 510 attys, cartos and tanks (which leaked everywhere, oh what fun that was).

Once I found a setup I liked (and having a busy life), I left the community.

The setup I've been using for a long time is a Nautilus Mini tank and 1.8 ohm coils at 4.9 volts (12.5 watts)....
