Saw on the news last night that a new e cigarette study showed that while less likely to cause cancer, long term use of an e cigarette causes you to be twice as likely for a heart attack.

I can't remember who did the study though I do believe it was a college.

I may have to give up vaping because of my family health history. This makes me really bummed as I recently got into rdas, coil building and making my own juice.

My girlfriend wants us to quit right now after seeing that but...

so in an effort to explore exotic coils and still keep them light enough to not have the classic problems of most exotic coils I’ve been running 8x28ga twisted. 6 coils on a 3.5mm mandrel spaced. Favor is there and there’s a moderate cloud boost. They seem to crap up pretty fast though. I’m running a darker juice though, and I’m wondering if it’s a factor of the coil design or just the juice. I woke up in a rare mood to buy supplies. What's with all the Kits lately?? I click on Mods at a supplier, that's what I want! I don't want yer dang sub ohm tank! And why the low ohm factory coils? Who wants factory coils on a mech-mod? Why sell the super low ohm at all when you can just crank the power up? How about just two coils - a 1.5 and a 0.5? On a tank with fully adjustable airflow and 2 driptips? And you can keep the 2ml tanks too!

I have an Eleaf 220w E-cig with an Eleaf Ello atomizer. I dropped it on the floor from like 70 centimeters and it doesn't seem to have a scratch. But the next time I puffed from it it didn't quite give me the aroma I'm used to. It was partly that aroma and partly burned flavour. I diassembled the atomizer and cleaned it, I changed the liquid and I changed the coil...twice. Nothing changed. I used a friends atomizer on my mod and it was alright.

New vaper here, been doing it for about a week now. I'm a moderate cigar and pipe smoker and decided to give vaping a try as a safer, less smelly alternative. I'm not a forums guy but after browsing Google on multiple occasions, I've never found a person I can relate to, in terms of experience with smoking to vaping.

The many threads I find say something to the power of:
1. Smoking too much
2. Quit smoking
3. Vaping too much

long story short....there was no rda in the box. i removed the plastic, pushed the box through the sleeve in anticipation to find NO RDA IN THE BOX. the 510 connector was missing as well, goodie bags all accounted for along with an empty foam insert. i still cant believe it.

I have a Zeus, run it with a 0.5 ohm coil, prefer the 510 driptip. 420w 19 w.

I have a narda clone, run it with a 0.5 ohm coil, 510 driptip, same settings as the zeus.

I have 2 eggrolls, one with a titanium coil the other with a ss coil, same settings as resistance as above.

I have 2 supertanks, again same settings using stock coils. Both have 510 driptip adapters.

I have a vayrian, hate it coz have to run it at 57w minimum to get anything, and its too hot for me.

hey guys. So last night I got my first vape. The guy kept forgetting that I wanted juice with no nicotine in it, so he kept suggesting stuff with it. And I reminded him. Well tonight I was looking at my bottle and noticed a message saying “this contains nicotine” freaking out. On the front of the bottle there’s a 0 under the name of the juice. And under that it says 60ml and then next to that it says 70/30. I see absolutely nothing about mgs, which is how much nicotine is in it, right?...

so i just got the ijoy captain x3 triple 20700 mod. im using tfv 12 prince with it.

i have tried a few settings. but taking a hit burns my lip or throat. sometimes both.

its not leaking or overfilled. ringt now im trying 410F with 75W. i dont know if i can
adjust the coil settings but thats at 0.42

anyone got some advice or help w/e tips anything will be very appreciated

I just got my icare2 and im using 50/50 juice and 1.1coil .
Im wondering why is the coil burnt so quickly? Is it because of the juice? Should i get lower VG juice instead?
I only vape for 2-4 sec every hits and wait for about 15-20sec for another hit. Maybe i should wait longer between hits?
I'm thinking of rebuilding the coil with 28g wire, wonder if it will work...
And I have ordered a Mister E juice jade ice online, i think it's 67pg/33vg 9mg nic, hope i dont have to constantly change...

As far as I know - customs gets suspicious on bringing in over 3 months supply which makes buying in bulk possibly hazardous, but is there a definitive limit on the amount?

I know that the Istick Pico is a great device. My friend ordered his on ebay for about $20. But from the start there was an issue. Clicking the fire button 5 times wouldn't turn the mod back on when he tried. The only way that the mod turns on is by taking out the battery and putting it back in.

I never owned a Pico so I can't possibly fix the issue. Is there anything someone can suggest to help fix my buddy's mod?

So as the title says, I have made a serious mistake with my Tpriv 3 and I feel really dumb. It's rather new, but, in my half awake state, I decided to look up a firmware upgrade in case there is one. There isn't, that I can find. The one I found, and without triple checking like usual, LOADED, was the 1.08 for the original TPriv. Oops. I did it right, but it's not for my mod. Now when I put in batteries I get no screen turning on, the colored lights are red, and nothing happens........

i have 2 set ups, dual coil at .26 ohms and dual coil at .5 ohms.

i can't seem to get a good setting.

if i usually vape .5 ohms at 38 - 42 watts, what would be a good setting?

I can’t say enough about how much I love vaping. And I have found my perfect setup (for now lol) in the Revenger X and the Cascade tank using the GT coils including the ss ceramic coils for tc.

Hello Folks

Recently I had purchased 2 pairs of LG HG2 batteries. 2 from a Chinese vendor, and 2 from local vape shop. After initial charging before use, I had let my Eleaf Invoke mod to deplete the batteries to the lowest voltage which is 3.10 Volts. Then I put the batteries to VC2 Plus overnight to see the capacity it holds.

Interestingly, batteries from Chinese vendor got 3134 mah from 3.10 to 4.2 V.

Removed the cotton. Burned all the junk from my coil. Let it sit to cool down for rewicking. Forgot about it. Tried to take a hit. Pressed the button. Got my lips and the glowing yellow coil in contact.

I'm new to ss 316L 24G wire. I tried two different builds with this wire and they both showed me a lot. I wasn't happy with 8 wraps dual ss coil because of the wattage I thought I can use. I quickly learnt that because ss is a hotter wire than kanthal, I needed to hang around slightly lower wattage than I had it. Even if you have 2 builds with the same ohms, one being ss and the other kanthal the kanthal will require more wattage because the wire isn't as hot a wire.

looking for a huge RDA I can fit a ton of fused Clapton coils in, something that will make more vapor than a TFV12 T14 coil. Something with posts that are good for thick wire such as fused claptons. I don't care if the diameter is huge like 30mm+ and overhangs my MOD. It's just for fun sometimes. Something that hopefully is not like where you have to stack the coils on top of each other an thus the juice needs time to wick upward.

I usually just go with the silver unpainted-looking option. But nowadays even silver looks like it's painted. I just don't trust these paints, one more thing to worry about.

I love that cotton wicks so well and we don't use silica anymore even though people used to swear that a vape doesn't get hot enough to start burning silica but it's just peace of mind that I'd rather maybe smoke a little tad of cotton vs some weird man-made silica.

Just Getting back into the vape game. I've been on and off for 6 or 7 years. And currently on day 12 without a cig!!

I have an istick pico and use an eleaf tank with replaceable coil cartridges. So I don't have massive vape clouds but it is pretty good.

The "when I'm awake, I vape" adage seems to apply to me lately. I have a counter on my pico (thanks to using the Arctic Fox firmware). I hit my vape between 250 and 300 times a day. I go through about 4-5ml of 9mg juice.

Is this too much? Should I cut down? I've been coughing lately, not a dry hack...

I'd assume NETs are the closest thing you can get to cigarette tobacco (without the burning of course). I may have to give up vaping

My skin is never spot free.
I don’t have dairy, I have green smoothies, I work out, I drink lots of water (like seriously lots), I’ve tried all pg 70/30 60/40 50/50 30/70 20/80 10/90 100% vg. 3mg,6,9,12 and it’s always the same. Flavourless, just tobacco etc...

I’m going to attempt going free for a bit and see if they go away. If they don’t, I’ll try something else
If they do I’ll have to sell all my gear and try a life...
