I checked-out the SJMY silicone bottle mod on YT, but decided there had to be a better way... Here is what I came up with.
Cut off the top of the VT Inbox OEM bottle, just under the shoulder of the bottle. Next, trim the shoulder off so that you are left with the stem only. Slide the stem onto the OEM tube and seat it to the surface of the bottle well. Removed the top section + tube from the SJMY silicone bottle, and tuck it away for later use if needed.
