General Vaping Discussion

What's the deal with these oversized drip tips that manufacturers are now putting on some of the various atomizers that they are selling?

Does a tip this large really serve any kind of a purpose? I can't believe any of these atomizers flow enough air that it requires this big of a diameter drip tip.

Just a passing fad?
