TL;DR - the VT167 crapped the bed and allegedly it was due to a "daughter" board added by HCigar. Evolv was so kind to offer a (refurbished) Therion 166 as a warranty settlement, even though it technically wasn't their product that failed.
Now if we could get other manufacturers...
