After 20+ years with the same credit card and number, I've had the misfortune to experience two instances of unknown, unauthorized charges within the last 3 months. Both times the charges (not vape related) were removed, but it required the cancellation of the old card and issuance of a new card with a new number along with some inconvenience for notifying affected businesses having my number on file.
