So no matter what I do I seem to get dry hits pretty quick on my rdta. Not sure what the issue is. I have the vgod pro trick tank rdta 2. It says there is an auto feeding wick system and you cut the cotton at the glass. I have seen other methods on other rdtas like pulling the cotton trough and twisting at the bottom. Unfortunately you have to take out the positive post to access the bottom of the tank . Unfortunately it won't let me upload a pic. It looks like the other vgod rdta and the... Rdta wicking. Hey guys, I just picked up the Joyetech Dolphin, and it is AWESOME as SAUCE! This little device is simply the best sub-ohm device I have ever used. The design is simply genius. The V-OCC-type coil is horizontal rather than vertical, creating a vape that is %100 spit-free, where any possible spitback slams into a chamber wall rather than into your mouth, but the coil perform so amazingly that I’m not sure they even spit anyway. Hi folks. Anyone have any luck poking holes in the packing around the factory coils to prevent burnt hits? I broke out an old diy syringe to use but it's really no better than a sewing pin. I started by going in from the top and loosening that. It seems that the packing is layered or rolled around the coil, making it difficult to put holes in from the side. I did get some side holes in using the hypo tho. Problem I'm trying to fix is a vertical coil in my new Exceed tank . Keep getting burnt... My Smok Alien is about 3 months old, maybe 14,000 puffs. In order to get it to fire, I have to press really hard on the lever, and a little sideways. We have all done it wrong. Again. Well most of us, myself included. According to Jurin's Law the capillary effect is stronger the tighter space you have to lead your fluid through. Gravity is not the biggest issue in vaping , but viscocity plays a role, so I wanted to test out this effect with vaping materials. I can confirm that Jurin's law applies to vaping . I've started having trouble with acid reflux and it's probably caused by the nic but I'm going to mix some testers. 0 nic @ 50/50, 3% nic @ Max VG, 80/20 pg/vg @ 3% nic, and etc.... just to see if the pg, vg, or nic is the culprit. When I first joined ECF , I asked why people weren't running low ohm coils in series. I got some good answers. Ramp-up time being the best. Well, I found an RDA that can run two coils in either parallel *or* series. Holy moly! The ramp up time is long - but the flavor is intense. Hello, this question may seem dumb but I am very easily paranoid, so I needed to ask. I have a Joyetech Penguin, and today, while refilling in the street (dumb, I know), I dropped the coil on the street, didn't think twice about it, wiped it with my shirt and put it back in. I am from Japan. Not many people are vaping here in Japan but I start to find some vapers at smoking areas in Tokyo. Vape is treated in Japan, I think, as same as smoking cigarettes because vaper and smoke look the same from non-smokers or smokers. What a frustrating online buying experience I just went through. Set up PayPal yesterday which for whatever reason I had to register my information numerous times to get their site to accept. Placed my order with Fastech and that went easy and quick, my new drippers, tank , s.s.wire, spare glass, and ohm reader on their way soon. After only three charges, my G150 will not charge. apparently the internal port has a problem. I have contacted the store where I bought it (Vapebox in Sacramento, CA) and the manufacturer. Although I've been vaping for a while I'm fairly new to rtas. I initially stumbled upon the OBS Crius V3 for my first rta but that wasn't too pleasant of an experience for me. I needed to stay below my desired minimum wattage, too many dry hits and soon realized that the Crius wasn't for me unless I would stay at 30W and up the nic level to 12 from a 6. Worst of all I can't even tootle puff with the Crius so it has it's place in the storage vape gear shoe box. Always wanting a good rta ... I had 3 cigarettes since i got my gear, i ran out of juice . Same day, got some juice after work. And thing are going great regarding quiting smoking. But... Last 2-3 days i having issues tasting the juice . If i dont remember wrong, i experienced something like this when i vaped few years ago. Its so anoying, arh. Ive been having problems with my Aspire Clieto Tank for a few months now. The biggest problem is that there seems to be an airflow problem, causing dry hits after 5 to 6 hits. Ive had to unscrew the cap, take a puff or two and then screw it back on to get stop it from dry hitting, which is obviously a pain in the .... I know this seems counterintuitive. I did some math and one factor that I was not looking at originally was average length of inhale. I know when I do higher wattage (low ohm) builds - I tend to do shorter inhales. I think this is because I am kind of aiming for a certain heat and throat hit - and I can get that faster at higher wattages. On lower wattages, I tend to do longer hits. So no matter what I do I seem to get dry hits pretty quick on my rdta. Not sure what the issue is. I have the vgod pro trick tank rdta 2. It says there is an auto feeding wick system and you cut the cotton at the glass. I have seen other methods on other rdtas like pulling the cotton trough and twisting at the bottom. I have never really had a sweet tooth in my life. I've been mainly using side airflow rda 's as opposed to bottom airflow. The rda 's that I have been using mostly, the velocity v2 and goon 1.5 give off great flavor, depending on the build too obviously. so I bought an ageis and then an aromamizer 7 plus to put on top of it (the thing just cries out for a gigantic atty). Anyway, despite its size the ageis is only a one battery mod , so if I don’t want to fill my pockets with 26650s I got to keep under 40 watts. So I️ watched this vaping documentary and it proved that vaping is better for you than smoking, one thing it said though was that vaping menthol e juice is as bad as smoking menthol cigarettes and that inhaling anything menthol for you is worse for you than vaping say a fruit kind of juice .
